Leider etwas herunter gekommen alles, vor allem die Budgetrooms. Aber sauber war’s. Musste mehrmals nach Hafermilch beim Frühstück fragen, ob ich dies bei meiner Buchung schon angemeldet hatte.

I stayed in what is called the "budget rooms" and truth be told they are definitely that. The double bed was just two singles pushed together (very comfy though), the room and furnishings had a lot of dents, cracks and blemishes, but it all means nothing when you get to the beach. The "better" section of the hotel is closer to the shore, but all guests have access to it. There are two swimming pools, and a great breakfast spread (which I had included) and lots of shaded, cushioned beach loungers by the shore. And the water itself was the kind that gets deep just a dozen or so meters in. Not one of these impossibly shallow beaches. So, all in all a good value. I paid about $55 a night because it was end of December (ultra-high season) but compared to where I stayed for the next 3 days, my Cliff Beach stay was superior. I also appreciated that in the room you get a beach towel, a shower towel, and a hand towel, not to mention umbrellas, a proper room safe, and a mini-fridge and kettle. Plus the surrounding area is lively, with lots of diversions, but you're not in the thick of it, noise-wise.

The room weirdly, had no overhead light in the main living area (over the bed). There were two end table lamps though so it was OK, but my room (No. 11) overall had a dark feel to it, and only two narrow vertical windows. The TV is also a load of nothing; 11 channels and all grainy and either Thai language or Russian. So, if those don't suit you, get out the laptop and watch YouTube. Good internet BTW. The property itself has a certain ramshackle charm, but you could also say it's just not very "groomed". Depends on how nitpicky you are. There are two swimming pools (both look in need of some extra cleaning), but really the star attraction is the beach, which is kept well tidy.

Personnel agréable. La chambre avec piscine privé était parfaite. Effectivement légère odeur d’humidité mais qui est largement supportable et qui ne rend pas la chambre humide ou invivable. J’ai vu beaucoup de commentaires négatifs et je suis bien content d’y être allé quand même. Oui les transats ne sont pas neufs mais rien qui empêche de passer un moment parfait.

De ruime kamer, zeer vriendelijk personeel! En het prachtige zwembad op de berg

Het zwembad is prachtig maar het is wel een klim om er te komen en als je pech hebt zijn er apen bij het zwembad die soms nogal agressief zijn. Maar dit kun je de accommodatie natuurlijk niet aanrekenen . . 😊

We liked everything at this resort, but as downsizes can I mention that the resort is a little run down and it could do some renovation or some repainting in some parts, but we were not bothered at all about that. I would also suggest them to give towels for every guest ( I mean also for children ) not only for adult guests, but I must admit I did not ask for extra ones

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer und hat einen privaten Strandabschnitt. Das ist wirklich super. Die Betten waren sehr groß und mega bequem. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und Dusche und Toilette sind getrennt. Auch das Personal ist sehr lieb und bemüht gewesen.

Es ist in der Nachts so unglaublich laut, da die Anlage direkt gegenüber der Walking Street liegt und wirklich jede Nacht bis 4Uhr morgens dort gefeiert wird. Ohne Ohropax konnte ich nicht eine Nacht schlafen. Insgesamt fehlt es der Anlage an Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit. Die Pflanzen sind nicht gepflegt, es liegt immer mal Müll rum und der Außenbereich vom Frühstück ist in der direkten Sonne ohne schattenspendende Schirme oder Sonnensegel.
