Large apartment. Comfortable bed. Free parking. Easy access from the airport. And the bed Thai restaurant across the road.

Great parking, very clean and spacious. Lovely bathroom.

Security. Both little door catches couldn't be locked at the same time. Very noisy-road noise, right by the railway line and my room was opposite a sports bar, right next to the rubbish/recycling station so I heard the clang of that getting emptied.

Front desk was not helpful

Location is great, with a short walk through the gardens to the city centre of Christchurch. Next door is a great pub for meals. Although the hotel is located on a busy road, there is no noise inside the rooms.

The rooms have two sliding glass doors as entry doors from the carpark. There is no privacy in the lounge part of the hotel room, as people and cars move around in the carpark. The curtains have to be drawn for privacy.

Stayed here in a one bedroom unit with our adult son. Hot water ran out for third shower following 2x brief showers of 3-4 minutes each. A hot shower is the most basic assumption for a motel.

Comfortable, roomy, renovated room. Friendly staff. Near lots of eateries so didn't need to drive.

Room backed on to a busy main road. No fence or anything in between room & road.
