"Luxury stay in beautiful Nara"

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The check-in experience included complimentary tea and sweets in the lobby as our luggage was brought to our room. The spacious room was wonderfully Japanese with tatami mats, a teapot with complimentary sencha, and decorative touches. We wore yukatas to the sento, which was clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the outdoor pools the most, having them mostly to ourselves. We didn't have dinner there, but breakfast was good. We were able to request vegan options with advanced notice. The proximity to the train station and the deer park was fantastic. Overall a wonderful experience that left us refreshed and ready to hike in Mt. Kasuga Primeval Forest!

Loved their service. Exceptional customer service. Very traditional Japanese style hotel with Onsen baths (separate for males and females), yukatas to match your size in your rooms, small sizes for children. Welcome drink. Proper hotel vibe with cleanliness and service. Great vanity area products. Perfect walking distance to Kinetsu-Nara train line and a short 5 min taxi ride to Nara JR line. Walk around the corner from the hotel to the large deer 🦌 park, so many deer everywhere. Walk in the other direction (towards the train lines) to a shopping street with ample food options etc.

Everything was great. The coin washing machine and dryer in the hotel specified that it may not fully dry, this worried me to use the facilities as I did not want to travel back with wet laundry. But found a laundromat nearby which worked out well.
