Lovely B&B with friendly, hospitable hosts. Nice spacious bedroom and bathroom, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. What more do you need?!

Wonderful stay at a wonderful family farmhouse

The owners are friendly and welcoming. We just stayed one night in the Rose Room. It’s a very traditional English experience with view of the country garden and a pub within walking distance that served excellent food. Breakfast of your choice is served on a shared dining room table. It was all very pleasant.

First impressions was WOW Jackie & her husband were superb Hosts and so helpful The Farmhouse itself was very cosy and I loved the character of the place, the bedroom was huge and clean and on arrival we had tea,coffee & biscuits 🍪 also bottle of Water on the side ready for us. In the lovely spacious bathroom, also very clean, there was plenty of Shower Gel, shampoo etc The dining room was huge and had a warm lovely atmosphere, on the sideboard there was several different cereals to choose from, yoghurts Fresh fruit, we could choose the cooked items of food that we wanted Different jams and the BEST Homemade bread 🍞 I have ever eaten in my life, in fact we were spoilt for choice and the quality of food was superb. The outside of the Farmhouse was very well looked after and tidy, and plenty of Parking space 😃 Will definetly stay again. Thank you both for a lovely stay From Wendy & Janet

We chose this B&B to spend a few days prior to a conference in Bristol and very pleased we were too. We were met on the drive by Jim who runs the B&B with his wife Jackie. He was most welcoming and helped us carry our bag to the house. The immediate impression of the outside was how well kept it was and this continued inside where everything just felt fresh and clean - a major point score as far as I am concerned. We chose their Master bedroom which had high ceiling and spacious proportion, the en-suite bathroom had been converted from a previous adjacent smaller bedroom so was very spacious also for its current purpose. The bed was Queen size plus and the mattress was very comfortable. The furniture in the bedroom was suitably styled for a farm house including a slightly thread bare sofa, however, I mention this not as a negative point but rather an enhancement of the character of a farmhouse and the charm of a well love family home. The bathroom was again spotlessly clean with plenty of fluffy towels to use, together with all sort of complimentary cream & lotions. We requested in advance our favorite breakfast of fruit and a particular style of yogurt, this was provided with delicious fruits from Jackie's garden. This is one of the best B&B we have been to recently and fully deserve the 4* it has been rewarded. Indeed, considering all the attention to details,the lovely country views and general relaxing atmosphere, I would say it is 4*+++

I was a guest for two days with a wonderfully warm and welcoming farming family. The setting and house was relaxing, clean, full of old charm and character and immaculately decorated and well furnished. The owners kindly showed me where to walk up some very quiet lanes round their farm surrounded by avenues of trees and woodland. The breakfast was great and set me up for the days there. I can’t speak highly enough of the place and owners. I will stay again and would recommend it to those that appreciate the quiet and warmth of the countryside and nice people. We were really pleased with our stay. Exceeded expectations. Very warm and attentive hosts who gave us our space but appeared instantly if we needed them. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed new and comfortable. Towels were amazing - so fluffy and soft!! Breakfast was extensive and tasty. Loved the veggie breakfast. The hosts are vegetarians but can confirm they also cook a great full English if you prefer!

The hosts were most attentive and genuinely concerned to assure a high standard of service for guests. The room was large and quiet, with well-stocked coffee/tea-making facilities. A good breakfast was provided, which included both English cooked and a variety of uncooked extras (cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit etc.). Freshly-baked granary bread was available every morning (yummy!).
