It's in the middle of nowhere so it is quiet environment. Staff are friendly and kind. The food is good. However, the walls are very thin and we could hear the next door guest playing games which was stopped when we complained. And when we were bitten by mosquitoes they provided with repellents and calming spray. So the staff are there to help us. But they cannot help when our sleep is disturbed by the next door guest's snoring, or leaving in early morning. Our sleep was not great. Otherwise it's a nice place. There is a pool as well.

We are delighted with our stay at this lovely quaint pretty hotel. Everything is very simple and extremely organized, as well as very tasteful. I have never seen staff members that work so hard all day with a smile in this heat. There is an enormous amount of attention paid to every detail. The staff is extremely nice and each one of them are excellent at problem solving. We could not have chosen a better place. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. Everything they cook is local produce either from their own gardens or near by neighbors. We are sad to leave.

First time that we stayed in this hotel that is not cheap, but the service is worth the money. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, the manager is absolutely top, the breakfast was, in this coronatime, perfectly organized, the dinner was fantastic. We loved the quiet swimming pool, we adored the walk to the back of the landgood and then further to either the sea or to San Estefan, but we also loved the walks to the other part (from entrance to the left). Fantastic 10 days holidays in a very quiet place.

We stayed at the hotel on the night of my brothers wedding as a treat and really wished we hadn't WASTED OUR MONEY! We are a young family, with a 2 and 6 year old. Due to this we required a suite to accommodate all of us. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to the penthouse suite, which was accessed by a narrow spiral staircase that took forever to climb and was really NOT PRACTICAL FOR SMALL CHILDREN. We didn't want to make a fuss so did not say anything about the impractical nature of our room. We checked in to the room and wanted to shower and get ready for my brother's big day, we had been to the beach in the morning and couldn't want to wash off the sand. Sadly, we had NO HOT WATER, I tried to call down to reception but the PHONE WAS NOT WORKING, I therefore had to get redressed and walk down the 100's of stairs to reception to be told that the HOT WATER WAS BROKEN. We had no choice but to try attempt to have cold showers. My children hated this and were crying and screaming. I therefore ran a bath and tried to top with water from the kettle, which lead to our 2 year old getting badly burnt as he slipped in the bath (no bath mat) when moving out of the way of the kettle for me. All of this lead to us being late for my brothers wedding not to mention STRESSED. The wedding ceremony went well, the grounds are beautiful, but the FOOD was AWFUL and the COFFEE served after the wedding breakfast was COLD. All of the guests agreed that the food really was a disappointment. Sadly in the morning we still DIDN'T HAVE HOT WATER and when I spoke to the member of staff on reception about the issue, she said "Do you think I am happy that we have no hot water? No, I am not". She failed to mention that the annex rooms had hot water and could have offered us the use of one of these rooms but didn't. I asked if we could have some of the cost of our room refunded due to such a POOR EXPERIENCE, she said that I had to speak to the manager Roberta. The continental BREAKFAST was a real DISAPPOINTMENT, comprising of some stale cereal, breads and jams, cakes and a couple of bit of cheese. During breakfast the floor in the dining area was lifted up and MEN DRILLING to try and fix the hot water problem. All very relaxing!! After several emails to the general manager, Roberta, she replied offering a part refund as a gesture of goodwill. A refund that I have never received, even after emailing and calling Roberta, she still has not arranged this. Their COMMUNICATION is AWFUL. This issue could have been resolved had Roberta been true to her word and issued the part refund. My brother, who got married the venue also found it very hard to communicate with the venue regarding their big day - this added EXTRA STRESS. My advice, GO WITH A VENUE WHO ACTUALLY CARES about their guest experience rather than their image on social media channels.

Arrived at the hotel at the hotel nearing the end of the season. We wondered why most of the rooms were still empty until I went to have a bath and shower and there was NO hot water at all. When we asked reception they just said sorry old property and we are having the plumbers in to repair the old pipes in the old farmhouse style hotel. Never informed of the situation on our arrival . Had to have a cold shower before we attended a wedding we were going to. NOT nice on a warm day,especially washing your hair. Next morning when we went for our cold buffet breakfast ,which consisted of style cereals which we think had been there since the beginning of the summer season,last years....incendently we had to clear the table away from the previous guests as the waitress had disappeared. We could not go back to our rooms and sleep as indeed the noises plumbers arrived the same morning and were very noisy. NO the of refund was ever offered and when emailed NO reply back as hotel had closed for the season. Besides our bad fortune the area and Hotel is beautiful and the homemade cakes in the morning were lovely and fresh. BUt it is a big NO for not going back again.

This was our third stay at this wonderful little hotel. It feels like coming home. We love our room on the top floor with stunning sea views out to St esteve. The food is delicious and varied and such a beautiful terrace to eat on. The pool is very large and in a beautiful setting. The staff are wonderful and are there to look after your every need. Nothing is too much trouble. Special thanks to Roberta, Raquel , Elena and Marta and all the members of the team. You make us feel like family. Looking forward to seeing you next year. Ps ... we had a wedding here in 2016 and it was simply amazing . Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

No warning of wedding on second night. Very noisy guests in the next room on third night, rooms need to be better noise insulated. No one on reception to deal with situation (but it was 2 in the morning)

We stayed for three nights at Sant Joan De Binissaida, during which we attended a friend's wedding also being held at the hotel. It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed in room 7 (suite with terrace) and it is a wonderful room - spacious, quiet, clean and well-appointed with a wonderful view. The sound of sheep while relaxing on the terrace with a view over farmland, a beautiful harbour and out to sea made for a very tranquil experience. The continental breakfast provided was excellent, made up of very high quality cereals, breads, cheeses, meats and pastries. Hot food was available to order and I would recommend doing so - the eggs were from the farm and were incredibly tasty. The coffee and freshly-squeezed orange juice complemented this perfectly. The setting for breakfast is also wonderful - we sat on the terrace most mornings with a lovely view over the rear lawn and the sound of birds and the animals in the surrounding farmland. The pool area is well laid out, clean and modern. The brunch menu is a nice addition, and allows you to order tapas / small plates poolside. The croquettes and octopus roll are particular highlights. Dinner was excellent. The menu is well thought-out, fresh and local. The waiting staff were knowledgeable of the menu and provided a faultless service throughout. We travelled with my 20 month old son, and he was well catered for (ordering chilren's food a few hours in advance is required, and was what provided was therefore very fresh). The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Our flights were delayed and we were granted late checkout, which was hugely appreciated. The hotel grounds are wonderful. The hotel's labrador (Cider) was a hit with my son, and she took us for a walk around the grounds to see the varoius animals, olive trees etc. She should be a paid member of staff! We will be back to stay next year.

We usually visit once for lunch when on the island. 2 adults and a 4 year old. Lunchtime is very quiet but leads to good personal service. Suggestions : The steak is thin cut , tender, enormous and would serve 2. Homemade olive oil incredible. Sea bass divine. Marques Riscal rosado the wine if choice by the glass. Make the effort to visit - you won’t be disappointed.
