Lovely welcoming hotel, excellent breakfast and good choice of meals throughout the day.

We booked this hotel because we were going to edinburgh for the weekend the room was clean ,The Breakfast was great for us and the service was exceptional. Very enjoyable weekend and if you are Camra members you get 10% of the price of Beer.

Ideal position for visiting Edinburgh on bus route so need for a car.Good choice of Breakfast and Evening meal.Lovely big bedroom but busy main road at the front.

Staff friendly & helpful and room comfortable. Only stayed 2 nights and didn't have breakfast so can't comment on food but it smelt good.

It was very handy to the buses and trams- especially if you didn’t have a car. Close enough to walk into Edinburgh and on the main line for the airport. The room was comfortable as was the bed. The hotel catered for breakfast which was great as well- a choice of eggs bacon on toast or full Scottish breakfast with cereal, juice and tea or coffee.

A warm welcome from the staff,food was delicious and plentiful.breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced.

Perfectly situated hotel for our family visit. Claire,Carol and the team made us very welcome indeed - thank you everyone. We would definitely come back to the Hampton.

Brilliant staff and welcoming atmosphere brightened up a dull, wet and cold Edinburgh night. Room was clean and comfortable although building is 'tired' and could do with refurb.
