The property is old yes but the mustiness was overwhelming. As well there were cobwebs throughout the ceiling. It was clear it was cleaned quickly and not thoroughly. The food was great though. I think there is potential here to be a lovely little inn.

Good food, friendly staff. Had intended to do some work, but had no internet throughout our stay.
Rooms and bathroom okay, but nothing more. You can hear everything from the adjacent rooms, but was otherwise quiet. Was in the back yard. No kitchen smells from the pub. Fairly good breakfast.
Please, please, please, please, please get some double glazing fitted. The outside noise completely disrupted our evenings, to the point where we couldn't even watch TV or have a sensible conversation (especially on Saturday night. Sitting in an uncomfortable room listen to a non-stop litany of four letter words from the pub's 'clientele' was depressing to say the least. Apart from that, the staff were all great, the food was tasty and good value for money, although the drinks felt a tad expensive.
Not a good place for a business stay over - holiday super. Got there to find no food being served that night!!! Ate in pub next door..... which was brilliant. Room ok but storage heating left room cold most of night. Sadly for me I booked on the night they had a live band playing until late. But I guess the band playing did hide the noise of a constant beeping outside the room. I would have complained had anyone been there. Breakfast included at 8.30am - far too late. But on a plus side it was clean I just didnt sleep very much......
The room smelt of damp and we had to buy air freshner to try and musk the smell . Overall the stay was satisfactory .
Short stay parking only outside the hotel, but a free car park is reasonably close. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. St Just is a great location to reach most places and handy for the Minack Theatre. A great breakfast in the morning, just keep an eye on the toaster :-)
It was excellent, the staff were good, the service was good and so was our stay.
