The Parrsboro Mansion Inn

The room was spacious and clean. The host greeted us and explained what amenities were available and showed us to our room (The Rose Room), explained how the TV and Heat pump worked, answered our questions. Our hosts Mike and Adele are very nice people who care that your stay was extraordinary. We would not hesitate to return or to recommend this property. The homestyle breakfast our hosts cooked up was delicious!

We stayed in the Grand Room (last room available) and it had unexpected extras including a dry sauna, nice sheets and comfy bed and pillows, a rack for hanging swimsuits, small fridge, and keurig. The outdoor pool is heated to 81F and has a slide and diving board; because of the operating hours (10 am to 9 pm) we couldn't take advantage of it. The owners put a lot of thought and care into the breakfast provided and the breakfast/sunroom is very pleasant.

Wir wurden vom Inhaber persönlich empfangen, ausführlich eingewiesen und mit Tipps versorgt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es wurde auch auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Die Lage in der Nähe des Zentrums ist gut, man benötigt allerdings einen PKW, um z.B. zum Hafen zu kommen. Der beheizte Pool ist sehr gut. Das Hotel ist für einen Kurzaufenthalt im Rahmen einer Rundreise sehr gut geeignet. Empfehlenswert!

We just returned home from staying at the Parrsboro mountain Inn.This was our second time staying here. If you want to stay in a SPOTLESS inn this is the place for you! The owners/management are very professional but friendly .They make you feel like your part of their family.The facilities are well maintained,excellent breakfast served by the owners and great variety. I rate this as a 6star instead of 5 as they go above and beyond. Awesome value for your dollar.

We stayed at the Parrsboro Mansion Inn for a 1 night visit while attending a Ships Company Theatre production of Chase the Ace. I have been involved in the service industry for 35 years and have witnessed a decline of standards to a point where good service is rare and bad service is the new expected "normal". We have migrated from stopping at a gas station and having multiple staff come to interact, fill our tank, check the oil, clean the windshield and complete the transaction to alas modern day, no interaction self serves. Mike and Adele have demonstrated to me that great service may be rare but it is not dead ! From the moment we entered the property we witnessed the care and concern they have taken to ensure that their guests are treated to a great experience. The Inn is clean, quiet and private. We enjoyed sitting outside in the many areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The pool was well maintained and an added bonus. The rooms were immaculate with everyhing we needed. Mike and Adele are the classic examples of hands on service as they handled every transaction ,check in , guided room tour, pool maintainance, concierge services, lawn care, housekeeping and to top it off the preparation and service of a delightful breakfast. This couple is busy but they still make the time to interact and genuinely care for their guests. After staying at the Parsboro Mansion Inn and witnessing the dedication and care from Mike and Adele , I have a renewed faith that good service is not dead. Thanks for the great stay and we hope to come back again.
