The Parrsboro Mansion Inn

I stayed at the Parrsboro Mansion Inn for 5 nights from May 25 to May 30. The owners were great and made me feel right at home. The room was beautiful and spotless. The breakfasts were delicious 😋 Highly recommend! Marielle

Beautiful, relaxing space in Parrasboro. Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. Felt like home. Beautiful breakfast, freshest eggs, bacon and pancakes with great maple syrup. Highly recommended.

Nothing not to like.

My travel companion travels with a fully licensed service dog. When we arrived, we were greeted with hostility and questioned rudely about the dog's purpose. I understand this was the owner's first interaction with a service dog, and they reacted poorly. My friend is very gracious and was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. But when we went back a few hours later. My friend asked some other questions about the area and was once again confronted with some rude, judgmental comments. My friend had chosen not to say anything. However, unfortunately, overnight, I started my period and got some blood on the sheets. Once we left, we were charged $150 for "damages incurred". I understand that it is within their right to charge me. But I know this is not the first time this has happened to me or to many of my friends, at other establishments, and I have never been or heard anyone else being charged for this. It's unfortunate it happened, but it seems like a steep cost for a washing bill. All in all, nothing that dramatic or terrible happened, and they followed the service dog law to the letter, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and made my travel companion very uneasy during our whole stay. Oh, and the beds were crazy super soft. Take that as you will. That might be your jam. But it certainly is not mine.

Everything about this property is exceptional. It’s lovely and a good value. Our room with two queens is very large and faced the garden. Mike was very attentive. He provided suggestions for activities and restaurants and cooked an amazing breakfast including freshly baked cheese scones, lots of fresh fruit, eggs and more. Parrsboro is a lovely town with good, reasonably priced restaurants and a brewery. The coop is basically a supermarket with a great selection but a little smaller. We highly recommend the Parrsboro Mansion and their hosts, Mike and Adele

We visited very early and they just opened for the season. We had the the choice of two rooms and we just loved our room as well as the entire experience at the inn. Clean, convenient, and close to lots of great activities. Breakfast was superb and Mike and Adele treated us like family. Be sure to rub Loki the dog’s belly.

The host, Mike was very welcoming and friendly! He served a great breakfast each morning and gave us ideas of things to see and places to eat. His wife also came and visited with us during breakfast. We greatly appreciated that he asked about food allergies and was more than willing to accommodate them. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed playing games in the shared living area. This was a beautiful location and great place to stay.
