ApaHotel Kanku-Kishiwada(Kansai Airport/KIX)

Hotel location was great with lots of good restaurant options around. It was also walking distance to Kishiwada Castle, which was what we went there for.

We could not control the temperature in the room. We saw notices saying that during certain parts of the year they switch their coolnig to heating, and the aircon doesn't work during this time, so even if the room was hot, there was no way for us to cool it down, which made our stay quite uncomfortable as we found the temperature to be too warm for our liking.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. It is very conveniently located, especially when you need to get to the airport. It's a 3-minute walk to the train station; a 15-minute walk to Kishiwada Castle and Kishiwada Danjiri; and about 12 minutes to Kishiki Shrine. It's very easy to get to Osaka — a direct train to Namba Station takes 30 minutes. The room is clean and quiet. I slept very well! The coin laundry is very convenient and works well. I still don't speak Japanese very well, but the Front Desk staff spoke very simply, I'm very grateful for this. I wasn't sure if I understood the explanation about breakfast correctly, so the staff gave me a card with instructions in English. Very thoughtful and convenient! Speaking of breakfast, I couldn't try it the first time because of my early flight. This time, I stayed for two nights specifically to visit some sights and try the breakfast. You have to order it the day before, choosing from two options: traditional Japanese or European. Of course, I chose the Japanese breakfast! The hotel gave me a unique opportunity to try what I had seen in movies and doramas. And it was the most delicious breakfast of my life! A kitchen staff member thoughtfully brought me breakfast and explained what the dishes were. To my shame, I didn't ask his name, I'm so sorry. His care and the amazing taste of the homemade food gave me a new, very warm feeling — not just a tourist, but a guest. It was an amazing end to my trip, and these warm memories are now my treasures. Next time, I will stay at this hotel again and choose a later flight so that I can enjoy your wonderful breakfast. I would be grateful if you could forward my thanks to the kitchen staff. And thanks to the entire hotel team for their hard work and hospitality!

夜遅くに関空に着く便だったので、そこから電車で約20分、駅から徒歩数分で利用しやすかった。すぐ近くにコンビニもあり便利だった。大阪中心部へも電車で30分くらいで行けて申し分なかった。
