Valentin Playa de Muro

It was a nice little green oasis away from the crowds of the main street. The resort itself was fantastic with all amenities you could think of. The breakfast buffet was extensive and had everything one could think of. The pools, the play areas were fantastic and it never felt crowded even though we went in July. Bonus was the lovely beach just a stroll away from the hotel through the forest. Since it's away from the crowded resort streets, it was peaceful and quiet in the night. There was music and entertainment in the night which made up for the fact that it was about a km away from all the action. A good find if you want a peaceful time and spend beach time.

The room itself was a bit disappointing. Given the prices, I was expecting the bungalows to be more spacious. While the verandah was nice, the bedroom and the kitchen area is too tiny. We barely managed to fit in all our luggage and have enough space to walk around. For a party of 4, it was bit too small for us. The pics didn't do justice. The bathroom also needs updating. The sanitary fittings were warped due to the sea and looked old.

Lokalita skvělá. Krásná cesta na blizkou pláž. Vynikající kuchyň, vstřícný přátelský personál.

Das Personal war jederzeit hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die Anlage ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Bungalows sind aber schön renoviert. Der Poolbereich ist schön und die ganze Anlage ist familienfreundlich. Die Auswahl beim Essen wusste auch zu gefallen

Moskitos. Das Hotel kann nichts dafür, es war trotzdem sehr störend. Dass man für Wasser beim Abendessen bei Halbpension bezahlen muss finde ich schade. Die Preise sonst sind extrem fair, trotzdem finde ich man sollte zumindest stilles Wasser umsonst anbieten.

The property is ok.

You have to be careful not to leave anything at the hotel when check out. Because they will not call you, they will not contact you. If you call, they will say they never seen it. We were in 227 and forgot a bag of new clothes there but they say they never seen it.

Speziell zu erwähnen sind die überaus freundlichen und aufgestellten Mitarbeiter und zwar von der Rezeption bis hin zu den Reinigungskräften. Das Hotel ist sehr familienfreundlich, das fängt schon beim Umgang mit den Kids auf.

Man könnte jetzt über Details meckern aber das wäre jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Jsme velmi spokojeni - ubytování je kousek od krásné pláže de Muro. Lze dojít pěšky i do města. Klidný areál s malými domečky s terasou se nám osvědčil jako ideální ubytování pro rodinu. Strava výborná - příjemné byly tématické večeře (středozemní kuchyně, asijská kuchyně apod.). Ale nejvíce si cením personálu. Dlouho jsem nezažila v hotelu u moře tak milý přístup a pohodu. Ráda bych se někdy vrátila.

We’ve just returned from a weeks holiday at Valentin De Muro and had a fantastic stay, we would highly recommend this hotel and struggle to think of any negatives! We stayed in a golden bungalow which was modern, clean and comfortable. The rain shower was amazing! We had a nice terrace area and although it was in the shade it was nice to relax there after a day in the sun, it also had a drying rack which was handy for hanging beach towels and swimwear. Housekeeping visited every day and they were always very friendly and helpful. We had considered a golden superior bungalow at time of booking but decided against paying an additional £400 for what the only difference appeared to be was a hot tub, we weren’t sure if it was a correct choice but during our stay we had a look at what we were potentially missing and found the extra money just for a hot tub probably wasn’t worth it in our opinion. The location is excellent. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel making it easy to explore the island. We took the bus from the airport which was approximately £8 each way and took around 1 hour and 10 minutes, quite a nice way to see other parts of the island on an air conditioned bus, saving a small fortune on taxi fees. There is a large Eroski supermarket 10 minutes walk along the main road (we found a pathway through the trees beside the road). The beach is an easy 10-minute stroll away (see aerial photo), along a wooden walkway through pine trees once you’ve crossed the road. A lovely clean beach with crystal clear water and stunning views. There are sun beds and umbrellas available for hire, and some beach bars around a 10 minute walk along the beach towards C’an Picafort. There are two swimming pools, one for relaxing and kids, and the other for lane swimmers. The lane pool is advertised as 25m long but it certainly isn’t, we worked it out to be around 15 meters. There are Bali beds around the lane pool and it was much quieter there so we mostly used this pool and relaxed around it too. We booked half board (breakfast and dinner) and the food was incredible, fresh and well stocked up no matter what time you visited. There was a different theme each night (Mexican, sushi, etc), but also a wide selection of other food if you didn’t like the themed option. A chef was cooking fish and meat every evening, and in the morning they would be cooking omelettes, pancakes etc to order. For breakfast there were many hot and cold options. The dessert table was delicious with a wide selection every night. You have to pay for a drink each night, we thought water could be included at least. Another niggly thing was that the coffee pods aren’t replaced in the daily room service, we had to ask reception each time we wanted more pods and these were charged to the room at 50 cents per pod. The restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and efficient. Special mention to Gareth who was very entertaining, especially when the entertainment was on in the evenings! If we had to find a downside, it would be that some of the entertainers in the evenings were a little too pushy, trying to make guests sing or dance when many of us just wanted to sit back and enjoy the show. On one occasion it felt uncomfortable enough that we left earlier than planned, as did several others. Overall, our stay was wonderful. The hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday—great location, comfortable rooms, excellent food, and welcoming staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Valentin De Muro and would happily return.

Das Essen war qualitativ sehr hochwertig und es ist immer wieder aufgefüllt worden das es an nichts fehlte. Für Unterhaltung wurde auch am Abend gesorgt meistens mit Livemusik an der Poolbar. Was wir noch hervorheben wollen ist das Personal immer hilfsbereit und freundlich ein eingespieltes Team
