Stay one night. A bit of walking from Kyoto station. Have a public bath on top floor to use. I use it by myself which is quite relaxing.

Good hotel near the station. Clean with good amenities, restaurant below with 7-11 next door and lots of restaurants nearby. Small room but that’s to be expected. Had enough to be comfortable to sleep and refresh when travelling.

Easy short walk to the station and staff were very helpful. Room was small but clean and enough room for 2nts. Hot spring upstairs was good too.

The hotel is very clean! The staff is the friendliest staff ever. They are very well informed about places to eat, excursions, and pharmacies when we were feeling sick. It’s the cold season and the air conditioning is managed as from management. It made the rooms hot to sleep in. Otherwise it was great. I’ll go back again for sure.
