Good location

It was absolutely fine, but it's 9+ "wonderful" rating over-sold it. Place is totally clean and comfortable, but a bit cramped and uninspiring. Sound insulation wasn't great; could hear conversation of next door neighbours. Shower took a long time to come hot - I'd kinda given up by the time it did.

Excellent service, well placed for the town and beach and the breakfast was especially great.

Property was located close to the centre of Newquay and within walking distance. Owner was pleasant and had car parking on site free of charge. Beds very comfy, hot water took some time to come through the taps but bathroom very clean. Good facilities but needed more milk pots as not enough for 2 lots of drinks

The mountwise area was quite run down with skips. The property outside and at the back was quite run down with paint tins, tarpaulin, cones and could do with a tidy up. The outside did not reflect the inside which was clean and tidy but on first impressions it gave off a Blackpool run down vibe.

The breakfast and staff were outstanding. The room was spacious and well-equipped with air conditioning, which made the stay very comfortable. Breakfast was served punctually each morning and freshly prepared to order by the kitchen staff. The team was incredibly supportive and attentive throughout our entire stay.

Finding parking was quite difficult, especially for larger vehicles like SUVs. The spaces are extremely tight, I actually scratched my car while maneuvering into the spot. Additionally, the "Ocean View" room was misleading; it only offered a partial side glimpse of the ocean from the far right, rather than a proper, direct ocean view.
