The hotel has a really nice old style ambience and is perfectly placed next to the beach. My room was lovely, but too expensive for the facilities offered. The staff were very good and tried to be helpful as much as possible. The breakfast was very poor for a hotel costing this much however as there was not the variety one would expect.. The hotel organised a day tour for me and it turned out to be a private tour which was not what I expected. It wasn't so much a "tour"as there was no tour guide .. simply a driver who dropped me off at appointed places. It was further out of Alona beach than I expected but this didn't prove to be a problem as tuk-tuks were readily available. I would recommend it for those wanting a quiet time.

The food was not of high quality. My room was lovely, the 101 room, but too expensive.
