Vacancéole - Les Demeures Champenoises Confort

Bonjour, notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Nous avons été logé dans le bâtiment B. Nous avons passé deux jours agréable. C’est un endroit qui est très calme aussi bien la journée que la nuit. Ça fait deux fois que nous venant dans cet établissement, car nous sommes sûre de nous reposer la nuit. Pour finir, nous avons passé deux nuits très agréable dans cet établissement.

Vacanceole is pretty close to avenue of champagne. Good price for a place to stay in this region.

Great overnight stay if a little basic and sterile

Opholdet var ganske fint. Dog kunne det være fint, hvis ledningen fra el kedlen kunne nå fra stikkontakt til bord, så den ikke skulle stå på gulvet. Lidt mere alm. hygge lys kunne også være fint. Vi boede i stueetagen, og desværre tæt på det udendørs askebæger, hvilket betød at vi fik glæde af røgen, når gæsterne skulle ud og ryge. Desværre lugtede det også meget af tobaksrøg på gangen i stueetagen. Da vi boede i bygning A var dette ikke noget problem. Men vi kommer gerne igen, men så skal det være i bygning A

The staff was fantastic. The food for breakfast great. The location - inconvenient. The best I can refer to this as a dormitory style building that wants to charge more for hotel guests. They have bizarre rules - they are not at the so called hotel at certain times And leave notes on cork boards telling you will be fined for doing certain things. Never been to a place quite like this before

It was a little bit different and interesting. The location was great for exploring Epernay and it was very quiet.

Stille område - ca. 30 minutters gang fra centrum af Epernay. Værelset er desværre slidt og mindre komfortable senge. Ingen aircondition på værelset.

Helt ok övernattning vid genomresa, för priset. Bra med litet kök och kyl på rummet. Ok frukost för priset . Väldigt häftig byggnad

AVOID Don't stay in this hotel if: you like your room dark, your beds not creaky, but most of all if you would like your hotel to take responsibility for other guests being able to enter your room during the night. Around 2:30 PM we were woken up by another (drunk) guest in our room, who was accompanied by a group of friends outside. My wife was terrified. Safe to say we did not sleep much after that. The next day we took this up with the reception, where security footage showed that the door opened by itself in the early hours of the night. The door had been closed properly and locked. The hotel proceeded to do their very best to put the blame for this occurrence on us and on the guest entering our room in the middle of the night, even when it turned out the door-closing mechanism was faulty as it was not screwed onto the door. The hotel manager even tried to downplay the fact that the door-closing mechanism was faulty to us. Then, the email address they provided to us to escalate our complaint bounced (yes, we double-checked the spelling). As a result, we've lost all trust in this hotel, and we'd not be surprised if they try to blame us again for the door opening by itself due to a faulty door-closing mechanism in the middle of the night in a response below. At least none of our things were taken and my wife wasn't alone in the room. It could have been much worse than a few lost hours of sleep. We will never stay in any Vacancéole property ever again. We'd recommend you to do the same.

We only stayed one night, and it was very comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Car parking was plentiful and safe. The champagne for sale was superb.
