The room was spacious and comfortable. If you don't mind walking a mile or so, most attractions are walking distance. Breakfast was very good.

We don't mind walking a bit to get to attractions, but I would have preferred to stay a bit closer to old town.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist die Altstadt in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück für UK Verhältnisse sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

Das Einzelzimmer war sehr klein und entspricht nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard. Für 1+2 Nächte aber O.K.

The breakfast was great the staff where extremely friendly and helpful,easy access to all parts of Edinburgh with local transport from across road ,no extra charge for parking.

Wasn't able to get a evening meal due to being fully booked .

Free Parking

No room service and the restaurants had no availability for several nights in a row. The reception staff were unprofessional and showed no interest in asking about my experience or addressing my concerns. The hotel is also much farther from the university than advertised, making it very inconvenient. Considering the price charged, the room was extremely small and represented very poor value for money. To make matters worse, on Wednesday the hotel was cleaning the windows while my window had been left open, resulting in my belongings getting soaked. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The hotel charges five-star rates but delivers very little in return. I would not recommend staying here.
