Savaii Lagoon Resort

The location by the water was beautiful. The food at The Barefoot Bar and Restaurant for our one night stay was spot on. One of the tastiest meals we had in our three weeks staying in Samoa. The snapper was absolutely delicious, and my husband’s eye fillet with mushroom sauce was so tasty. Staff were lovely, very accommodating. Great to be able to use water from the tap which was filtered.

Couldn’t find the switch to turn the outside light on when it got dark. Made it hard to see where you were walking, on return after dinner, when trying to enter the unit. We were also unable to lock the safe in the unit, to use it. We got the very helpful staff member in the reception area to help us. She was unable to do it, and also did not know where the light switch for the outside light was located.

Beautiful and central location with sandy beach, large and comfortable room, free kayaks, yummy breakfast, friendly and welcoming owner and receptionist.

We were next to the restaurant, so we could hear the staff, who were loud and overbearing. We didn't attend the fiafia night which was overdone but we went to the restaurant next door for more privacy and calm.

One recommendation: It would be great to have access to the apartments shower from outside. The room is getting sandy too quickly.

We enjoyed a beautiful 3 days here! Fell in love with the wonderful people and dreamy lagoon. Delicious meals — especially the grilled seafood! Experienced amazing snorkeling going in right from shore— so many kinds of colorful fish and coral. Robyn is an incredible host/owner — made sure we were well taken care of. Sina was also very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

What's not to like?? Amazing place, amazing staff, great restaurant (and another just down the beach at the resort next door). We came for quiet, to escape and relax and that's exactly what we did. We will be back with our kids & grandkids next year!

Bring ear plugs if roosters crowing in the early hours bothers you. Just a suggestion that a rubbish bin is put in the bathroom also... Otherwise nothing to dislike!!

Perfect location with the most beautiful scenery of the beach. It had everything you needed and was clean.
