Savaii Lagoon Resort

Idyllic location, white sandy beach, turtles. Spacious room. Great breakfast.

Everything was perfect.

Food was good. Location was stunning. Wish I had been there for longer, but only an overnight stay. Snorkelling was good, but bring your own gear -guests had stolen that which had been supplied by the resort, sadly. Room was very comfortable and well equipped.

From early e-mails to arrange our stay to every aspect of our memorable holiday, there was nothing that could have been improved. The location is stunning, with fish swimming right outside the restaurant, kayaks available for guest use in the crystal-clear water, proximity to the Savai'i dive centre and a beautiful church next door where we were made extremely welcome. (You'll be welcomed whatever you wear, but if you can pack white clothes to attend church, that will show extra respect.) Facilities were fabulous. We loved the outdoor shower with frangipani flowers falling on the mesh overhead, creating fabulous fragrance with every shower. Toiletries were next level - the shampoo and conditioner left our hair silky and soft, quite an achievement when we were in the water every day. The kitchenette was well-equipped and very convenient. Our unit was immaculate, light and spacious with a separate bedroom, lounge/dining/kitchen area and bathroom. We enjoyed superb food and staff who anticipated our every need and wish. The rooms are separate from the restaurant, ensuring privacy and peace, so on a wet day, lovely wait staff came to take our meal order in our room and to deliver our freshly-prepared food soon after while we stayed in comfort in our suite. Martin had the most memorable 75th birthday celebration at SLR. We arrived to flowers writing a happy birthday message in our room.. At breakfast, he was garlanded with a stunning fresh lei. At dinner, he was given a bottle of complimentary carefully-chosen red wine and the local string band sang especially for him. The meal finished with the most delectable chocolate cake imaginable - moist, tender and flavoursome. We will never forget the incredible welcome and love we were shown at Savai'i Lagoon resort.

All round really good

Very friendly and made it easy to arrange all travel logistics from airport to resort. Owners ate with visitors each day. Loved how they treat the staff and shared the movies and sport with everyone The cultural night was the best we've seen it was just lovely This place is not fancy it's warm friendly and very safe Sit back swim, read, relax, eat, drink, and take in the view

Nothing we can think of

Nice cosy cabins with coffee making facilities and they even had microwave.

Breakfast is included but there's not a single juice or water provided. Juice is for extra.

The beachfront, the size of the room, comfortable bed, the restraunt, covered outdoor porch with clothesline and pegs, iutdoor shower and footbath and of course the staff.

The couch, the cabin could have been cleaner with daily sweeping, and I had to ask for coffee/sugar every day.
