Make sure you go to Savai'i on your trip to Samoa, it's the best part; snorkelling & turtles! Best things about this low-key but excellent resort: staff (happy!), kayaks to use, high & low tide daily updates, daily menu, Fiafia night (Wed), outdoor shower ensuite (with full mos net on rooftop), in fact all mosquito prevention :window nets is A+, a high level of regular maintenance happens here all perhaps as owners take care every day to check on everything, guests. Included Breakfast has excellent array fruit, cereal, eggs cooked how you like, + Samoan breakfast if you want to try such as koko sago. All with plunger coffee, different milks & I heard the espresso is worth it if your missing that. GF bread available (& it's nice). I would consider this resort Coeliac safe, provided of course you communicate that to owners & repeat to all the staff/chef. Also -the best burgers! With GF buns!!! Sadly we missed dinner the night fresh Lobster was in. Regretted that ! It's right next door to Le Lagoto if you want to stroll for a bigger cocktail menu or try out other neighbouring eating places (also a couple lunch cafe/pizza across rd) but Footprint Bar & Restaurant at Savai'i Resort had best quality & happy hour prices! It's not an in your face partying resort (thank goodness)- more a slow-down, enjoy the natural pace & laps of tidal lagoon right at your doorstep, with great service. They do a free Fri morning cultural experience demo for guests. And did I say how great the staff are??? We actually extended our stay from the original booking (directly). And do that - via Email best. We took bus back to wharf, it was a great local Saturday experience (& noone had to sit on our laps!). Taxi was100tala there - better to get Resort to book it so you get a decent driver.
