USThis place has great potential. You can tell they're still working on it. Everything looked and smelled clean and new. Very easy to get to. It is towards the end of a long line of old motels right on the highway that runs through Durango and it stands out because it is renovated. You definitely hear road noise but the AC unit fan drowns it out adequately. Hot tub was fantastic. The woman at the front desk in the afternoon/evenings was wonderful. Breakfast isn't offered but there are so many great breakfast places in Durango, some just two blocks away that it didn't matter.
The gap under the room door was probably about a half inch letting in air, noise and bugs. I had to cover it up with a towel. They definitely need to fix that before winter. Beds were comfortable, nice linens, good mattresses but the mattresses were very noisy.
USUSI loved how the property was modern style, close to North Durango and the ski sports, and I love how the property was easy to get around.
