The staff is very, very friendly and helps you with all. The breakfast is georgeous. We were lucky as returning guests and got the luxury of an upgrade. Thanks again, even the other rooms are very nice too. Nice pools in a large garden.

We knew it upfront and no problem for us, but Uber or car is required to go to town.

Franschhoek is a beautiful town. The check in was efficient. A fantastic large tree in front of our cottage.

Dusty access road. No security. No closing gate on entry and a gap in the fence at the back easily enough for person access. The paving was broken and crumbling in many areas. The hot water was brown, but the cold water was clear. Very strange. Cupboard doors in bathroom and bedside tables had very badly installed doors. The marketing info was great, but the reality was terrible. The garden was only partly maintained. Microwave oven door could not be opened fully. The rating was said to be 4 stars, but should have been 1 or 2 max. Very poor value for money.

Beautiful ambience, very peaceful, only birdsong to disturb you! Lovely breakfasts.

The pool could be better maintained. Very cloudy water and some leaf debris floating making it less appealing. The “gym” area looked as though it had been abandoned.
