Leith Valley Holiday Park & Motels

Amazing stay! The community kitchen helped us cook up a wonderful dinner and breakfast for the entire group. Nice cozy rooms and a convenient location to Dunedin city center.

This was our second trip back to Leith Valley Holiday Park and we were just as impressed on the second visit. We liked that the cabins are equipped with cutlery and crockery plus a toaster and kettle, so you can easily have breakfast in private in the cabins. My husband has a bad back and he appreciated the reasonable mattresses on the beds compared to some cabins and bunks we have stayed in previously. The kids also loved the adventure of heading up after dark to see the glowworms, which are 5 minutes walk across the river from the park.

We enjoyed our stay at Leith Valley Holiday Park very much. Our studio was very clean, tidy and warm. Had eveything we needed. Staff were super nice and even rang me once we had left to say we had left a couple of things in our room! No one has ever done that before.

Arrived earlier than expected (Before 2 o'clock when room would be ready) and was met by a straight out rude and unhelpful staff member who made my group feel we were simply a nuisance for arriving early..Sarcastic remarks by this person made it far from a good start. Not the way one would expect to be met. For the price per night we received a one bedroom unit with a double bed and a set of bunks. Squashed!!! Have paid way less for extremely better accommodation! Also far from the most comfortable bunks and bed I have previously experienced. All and all enough said! Simply sad!

Great would definitely come again, love the atmosphere and the room was clean and warm and also safe.

We stayed here for 3 nights. While the location was nice the room was rather cramped for a family of four. It is fine for a couple, perhaps but would not recommend for families. While the pricing was reasonable it wasn’t very comfortable.

Pleasant place, very close to the middle of town but in a quiet and slightly isolated position with lots of parks nearby.

we so enjoyed our stay great location easy drive into town central to everything loved the lodge very quiet area .our greeting was very friendly .we would stay there again if we were to visit new zealand again

Stumbled across this place by complete accident, was pleasantly surprised, the room was spacious, very clean and quiet, the kids felt at home, the staff were welcoming and grounds were tidy. Loved the nature feeling a sound of river added to the atmosphere

Nice accommodations with good location. Good for family with kids.
