La Villa du Lac

Ons verblijf in villa du lac voelde als een oase ten opzichte van ons eerdere verblijf in het drukke marrakech. Villa du Lac is een heerlijke plek om te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht, de zon en een heerlijk zwembad. Ook hadden we een prima kamer en de service was goed. Zeker een aanrader.

Lovely villa - we arrived late in the dark and were met by Mohammed the night porter, who was very kind and settled us in. The views in the morning were amazing and having breakfast overlooking the lake was very relaxing. Finding the Villa was a little bit tricky at night and not to be recommended or for the faint hearted - don't be put off by the approach track!! The 'town' was nothing amazing but just a normal Moroccan 'bomb has hit it' place... We found it to be a good location for exploring, you certainly need transport unless you are thinking of sitting by the pool for your entire break. Take a book, cards or some form of entertainment with you as there is nothing to do in the eves except play pool - this was fine with us. The staff were all most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were comfortable and rooms clean. We really liked it and found it relaxing and calm.
