Riad Marlinea

I am glad that we stayed here. It is about half hour walk from the train. It can be a bit tricky. I could not get help with the number that I had. The staff was nice enough. You have to know Morocco a bit to be comfortable here.

De Riad ziet er van binnen sprookjesachtig uit maar wij misten een raam richting buitenlucht. Alle kamers sluiten aan op de prachtige overkapte binnenplaats en die van ons was daardoor enigszins bedompt. Dat is een nadeel van het verblijven in de Medina, buitenlucht vind jij op het dakterrras en niet rechtstreeks in de kamer.

FIrst of all is the hotel hard to find. You nearly have to live in town to know the way, and most of the locals I asked about the way didn't know where the hotel is anyway. Secondly they advertise the room as 161 squaremeters. Well the room itself is no more than 2x5 m and the "bathroom" 1x4 m. Judge yourself how close to 161 that will be....Thirdly, where was the kettle??? The staff and owner doesn't speak a word of English so French or Arabic is the only way to talk to them. Lastly, and worst of all: when I lifted the cover of the inner bed to go to sleep, there was a large brownish wet circle on the sheet. The stank was awful since the cat of the house had been PEEING IN THE BED!!! It had climbed into the room by means of the tall plants outside the window facing into the patio. Is this how guests should be treated????

A prime a bord l endroit semble mysterieux....mais l interieur est feerique. Patrick et Patrice sont des hotes fantastiques ainsi que tout le personnel. Si vous avez la chance de choisir la suite ca en vaut le coup. Le dejeuner est copieux et delicieux et quoi dire du diner offert sur demande....c est un endroit que je recommande ....vous allez adorer.

Liked it. Very nice host. But things were not exactly as written: No coffee maker. No TV etc

Great raid in Salé. Close to to tram to Rabat...about 15 minutes walking. We got in late and starving, and they take orders for dinner in the morning. Staff called a place for us and brought food in! Very sweet staff. They don't speak English though, if that is important to you.

sehr freundliche mitarbeiter! sehr freundliche besitzer! sauber! TOLL!!!!!!!!! es is ein riad, kein hotel! wer hotel standard mag, liebt und bevorzugt, soll ein hotel buchen!!!! wer leben und erleben will, -bei sehr schönem, tollem und freundlichem komfort, der Kann u. muss hier buchen!!!

Einfach zu findende Lage am Rand der Media, nahe zu deren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Außerordentlich freundlicher und persönlicher Empfang. Wunderschöne Oase des Friedens und der Entspannung. Familiäres Klima.

Nice place and pleasant people. Right in the heart of the Salé Medinah. If you drive give a few dirhams to a petit taxi and follow him, or you may never find the place !

Beautiful Riad - all the decor through . Service was very friendly.
