Le stanza era ad un 4º piano senza ascensore, con scale antiche, porte e corridoi stretti. Non adatta a famiglie.

The building is lovely and old, and the room was decorated so nicely. It felt like stepping back in time with dark wood and paintings. It’s got a lot of character! The owner was very kind. It’s in the perfect location, very central with lots of good restaurants around. One thing to note: There was no breakfast served although that was stated perhaps by mistake on the booking platform. In Italy it’s nicer to get a cappuccino and pastry out, so it wasn’t a problem for me at all.

It was perfect for me and I’d go back.

We had mixed feelings when booking this accommodation due to some unflattering reviews, but the reality was a very pleasant surprise. We definitely feel that this place does not deserve those negative comments at all. The location of the guest house is absolutely perfect – everything important in Pisa, including the Leaning Tower, is within walking distance, right in the center of the action. There are countless options nearby to go for a drink or tasty food. The lady at the reception was smiling and helpful, and communication went smoothly. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy, and fully functional. On top of that, everything was cleaned and refreshed on the second day, which we didn't even expect for a 2-night stay. For us, it was a really great value for money, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I am rating it 9/10 only to leave a tiny bit of room for perfection regarding the minor details mentioned by other guests. Some things are simply caused by the specific nature of the building, and you just have to expect that. However, during a short-term stay, you don't really mind these things at all, and they didn't ruin our overall experience. Highly recommended!

The location is great. Right in the city center close to shops, restaurants and walking distance from the tower. In a quiet alley across a wine shop. Easy to find and half an hour walk from the Pisa airport. The gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and welcoming and we appreciated the after-check-in time we arrived.

This accommodation should change its name. There is no breakfast included. Very misleading and not fair to guests who read the Booking.com description. The showerhead was broken and the bathroom can use some maintenance altogether. After we left, a lady shouted out the window if we left the tourist tax. Very rude and not friendly at all. She did not even ask us about our stay. Altogether, this is very poor value. Yes, the location is great, but if one charges rates for a room like this, some more effort should be done to increase the quality and comfort.
