Zara Beach Resort

We were a bit worried about what to expect after reading other reviews but we shouldn’t have. Our accommodation (2 bed villa with pool) was fantastic, loads of space and perfect for a family. It was cleaned every day and the pool was cleaned every other day. The communal areas were well kept too and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast became a little repetitive as the choices were limited but it wasn’t a problem.

The Breakfast was disappointing...no fruit and really limited choice...

Fan and a/c not working in half the 2bedroom villa. TV not working. Lost all water to unit 2nd day - took all day to fix. Toilet didnt drain properly and was brown water when flushed. Staff were very helpful. NIce to have own private plunge pool. Great happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails.

Cool room, great location on the beach, wonderful staff, my only gripe would be the satellite tv doesn't work which, is annoying if you just want to relax in your room.

Très bon hôtel où l'on se sent chez soi. Le personnel est exceptionel et au petit soin. Le coin est très calme et également tout près de de bons restaurants. Les photos ne correspondent pas exactement à l'état actuelle des Villas mais nous avons eu énormément de plaisir et reviendrons!

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful time at the Privilige! We were greeted very warmly in the reception and were allowed to use the pool and get a free meal while waiting for our room to get ready:) the room had a stylish decor and an amazing bathroom. We even got a complimentary sparkling wine from the hotel because we had previously stayed at the other Privilege hotel at bangrak beach. All in all we were very pleased:D

Lugnt och harmoniskt stället. Kunniga och trevliga personalen. Nackdelar: Hotellet håller på med en ny byggnad. Elektricitet gick några gånger. Trotts allt detta är vi ganska nöjda.

In general Koh Samui was very disappointing, hotel, resort and weather! but food in hotel was good although limited selection and the staff were exceptional in particular Phylo and the girl with the red shoes (sorry don't know her name). Asked reception to order taxi for trip back to the airport and was shocked to discover cost was 600 Baht (almost twice the amount charged from the airport). My advice would be to organise your own transfer. Pleased to move to our next location
