Hotel Playa Del Sol

La habitación excelente muy completa y limpia , los colchones muy bien dormimos rico, y lo mejor frente al mar, la playa bellísima la arena blanca , la comida riquísima el personal muy amable , la alberca muy bonita bastante honda , volveremos sin dudarlo .

Lo único incomodo es que había muchos mosquitos y picaban muy duro jajaja pero eso solo unas horas por la tarde después todo excelente

Room 8 needs a little work and it could of been cleaner

While the location was nice in a remote fishing village, it was not what i expected. The sea was to chopy to snorkle. The hotel restaurant has a nice view but it was very difficult to eat with all the flies and mos. The room was small, towels smelly, pool green with algae, the wifi and power went out four times so I could not do any work. Also the American crowd was on the rough side. I will definitely not return.

Convenient

Great location, great staff, excellent food from the morning cafe.

Pool was a mess every day, chairs and pool toys were strewn around. Chairs and cushions were mismatched, umbrellas were broken, pool tiles were missing and lying all around the deck. Just having someone tidy up the chairs each evening would be an improvement

Leo and Martin and the whole beach bar were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious, coffee delicious.

The Curtains in Pool View room #1 have heavy dust on them and the sheets on ONE of the beds were very old and crumbly. Sheets on the other bed were great.

Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is in the heart of Los Barriles and on the beach. They have a large pool. I would definitely get a pool/ocean view room. It is worth the extra $$$. The bed was a little soft for my liking. They have a cafe/coffee shop which has food and is open earlier in the day. They have a full bar/restaurant in the evenings as well as a little palapa bar right above the beach with a great view. We saw whales breaching and playing and rays jumping, all right out in front of the hotel. The staff were all super friendly, especially Leo. A couple of things to note. Our room did not have a microwave or coffee maker. Also the water pressure is a little light and the sink drained slow. But these are small things compared to all the great things about Playa Del Sol. We will most definitely stay here again. It is 2 blocks from the main streets and there are a ton of restaurants, bars, taco stands and grocery options within a few blocks.
