Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, with only a few exceptions, particularly in the restaurant. The technical support team is excellent—responsive, efficient, and capable of resolving issues quickly.

The room was not as clean as expected. The bedsheets appeared worn rather than fresh, and the pillow had an unpleasant odor. The carpet also seemed unclean and may not have been vacuumed properly. In addition, the twin-bed rooms were quite dim and lacked adequate lighting. The other room, the carpet seems cleaner.

I was quite disappointed with my stay at Grand Swiss-Belhotel Melaka. The bedsheets and pillows had an unpleasant smell, which made the room feel less comfortable. The refrigerator also had a strong unpleasant odour, making it uncomfortable to store any food or drinks. The TV was very small, and the overall room atmosphere felt dark and gloomy. The breakfast was below average and did not meet my expectations. The hotel lobby was the only area that looked nice and welcoming. However, the parking area was in poor condition, dirty, and not well maintained.

Considering the room rate of over RM300 per night, I do not feel that the stay was worth the price. In my opinion, an Airbnb would offer better comfort and value for money. Overall, this stay did not meet my expectations, and I hope the management will take steps to improve the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience in the future.
