The hotel is in a good location very close to the airport. My third floor room had a good view of the airport and many of the parked private jets were just across the road. The staff were very friendly and efficient. My room was a fair size and the en suite was very spacious. The flat screen tv has many channels, but the only one in English was an American news channel. I think I was unlucky enough to have a noisy next door neighbour in the hotel.. after hearing recurrent noises coming from his room he was just before me at reception when checking out at 7 45am,(knew it was him when he quoted his room no!). The rooms in the hotel have wooden floors which would increase sounds, but the main thing to remember is because of its location the hotel will have people arriving from or going to the airport at all times!

Perfect location for navigating in/out of the airport.

First of all, and quite important, this hotel is super clean. Second, it's comfortable. Nice bed, nice pillows, nice chair and desk, plenty of electricity outlets, free and good wifi, well designed and well positioned air conditioning... and the rooms are also extremely quiet. Really important when the airport is just across the street. And mentioning the airport, coming to the hotel from there after 9pm could be an issue. There are no buses at that time, it's too close for a taxi and too far to walk. However, if you are not terrified by the idea of a 15-minute walk along the promenade with your luggage, you could take the free shuttle bus from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, and then just go East to the hotel by foot. From early morning to 9pm you could use the airport express bus #98, and the hotel is just 2 stops from Terminal 2 and 3 stops from Terminal 1. Which doesn't save you from the full airport bus rate, which is 6 eur - but this is the only option Nice has to offer as a public transport connection for the airport. In terms of connection to the city, the hotel location is more than convenient. You have a bus stop 70 meters from the hotel, just across the promenade, and the bus will take you downtown in about 20 minutes. St. Augustine train station is less than 10 minutes walking (or 2 bus stops) from the hotel, and from there you have convenient train connections to all the French Riviera and beyond.

Small room but convenient for overnight airport stop.

The hotel doesn't look like much from outside but is very nice inside. Staff was helpful. Great breakfast for €9. Major drawback if going to airport: no shuttle. Taxi was €25. There is a city bus but with suitcases it's not practical.

Very enjoyable stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. When asked they phoned for taxi for me and it arrived within 5 minutes. Excellent food in the restaurant and breakfast superb. Only thing missing was no tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Price for parking motorcycle was the same as for a car.

Location is nice but personnel not to the reputation of the hotel.
