"Condo dated!"

6.0

This condo is now dated, although clean walls have patch marks not yet painted, front door to unit no longer fits well and requires fiddling when locking and unlocking, TV in bedroom is standard in most units at this price range. it wouldn't take much maintenance to bring this unit up to par.

"Good"

6.0

It is a hotel in a quiet location, suitable for families. BUT READ THE FINE PRINT RE: CHECK-IN, it is done at the Blackcomb lodge down at the Village. And bring proof of reservation.

"Not recommendable"

2.0

The lobby smells like vomit; there is no service at the building; the outdoor pool is cold; guests consume drugs in common areas; the kitchen and bathroom door in our suite were not working and dislocated, respectively; instead of havin an electronic key-card to open any door at any time, the lodge expects you to remember a couple of four digit passwords to access your room and certain areas of the building; and the suites do not have a safe-box, however, the lodge has a disclaimer stating that they are not responsible for any valuable object in the room. Additionally, housekeeping service is not included, you have to pay extra if you need this service. In order to experience all this inconvenient/unplecent situations you have to pay around $630,00 for the weekend.

"Dreadful Digs at the marquise"

2.0

When we arrived, the toilet would not flush, no hot water and the sink did not drain. The staff was able to move us to another, better maintained location. Settled into new location at midnight. Very disappointed with The Marquise and DO NOT recommend it at all.

"Comfortable"

8.0

It's like renting a condo unit from an owner. There's no staff. The pool is a nice size. it's only about a 15 minute walk from the village and also a 15 minute walk from lost lake which has some nice short hikes around it or biking trails. the one bedroom unit has enough space for a small family of 3 or 4. the unit is clean just a bit dated. so if you're looking for something more modern, look elsewhere.

"Good"

6.0

Location is not in the central location but it is in quiet area. The room is quite spacious, perfect for family because it is 1 bedroom condo. Because this is not a hotel, check in is in different location and quite far. Make sure to call first to reconfirm once you get the confirmation to get the address for checking in. No cleaning service, after we stayed 3 nights there. The unit that we got was moderate, carpet was old. Overall we still enjoyed our stay in Whistler.

"quiet location"

6.0

room was nice but we expected a balcony or patio and the room did not have this...would have been nice to sit outside and read. location was quite a walk from the village, especially at night. hot tub was closed on last morning there due to broken glass. overall room was nice and had all conveniences.

"Check-in location is complicated."

4.0

Check-in location is apart from the hotel in summer time. There were small note on the hotel confirmation, but we might easily miss that small note. The hotel should have placed clear notice or instruction at the front desk which is closed during summer time.

"Check in was impossible"

8.0

I booked on line, paid in advance and went to check in and there was a closed reception. There was nothing on my paperwork, and I had it all, that told me I was to pick up the keys at a location in Whistler Village. I wasted 1.5 hours trying to figure out where to go to get the keys. I met others in the same boat. This was completely stupid for not informing me in advance.
