Málaga Inn

I have been there for 10 days the girls are so nice and not just with me! Very helpful I have learnt that is new management a very nice lady is running the place I guess the older comments were for other owner because i see a lot of cleaning and maintenance going on yes is basic but he comes slightly cheaper than the Warldorf Astoria or the Ritz! Expect some noise at time remember this is a very popular holidays resort not a sanctuary! Is do nice here people are so lovely and friendly

We had to stay there during peak season for work and it's : you get what you pay for. Tiny private room but with comfy bed and clean sheets. Absolutely zero other facilities . Free coffee and a muffin for breakfast, hostel is not a 5* hotel so please don't expect that. It's just alright. Staff is very nice , helpful and willing to do anything for you.

Horrifying customer service. When you can find and wake up the girl who works afternoons her favourite phrase is "your problem" said with a shrug of the shoulders. I wish I'd taken her name now as I've never been treated with such contempt. I was in trouble at the time having lost my money but she refused to let me use the hotel telephone. How she expexted me to pay my bill until I sorted it out is anyone's guess. "My problem" I suppose! Also showers didn't work and loud drunks made this place too much even for someone who usually thrives on a challenge. ps the showers don't work, no hot water, no kitchen, I could go on. Avoid.

Me and my husband are from England and where on holiday in Estepona and visited Torremolinos for 1 day and booked this place. Firstly when we arrived to book in we waited at reception for 20 minutes and there was still no one there so we had to leave and return an hour later, We then returned and where greeted with receptionist who spoke very little English who handed us our room key, which you have to return every time you leave the building, when we walked into our room my heart sank! It was more like a cupboard then anything else very outdated with bed sheets you would expect to see in a hospital, to top it off there is no air con in any rooms and had to return to reception to ask for a fan and the shared bathroom has clearly seen better days! Avoid this place!

Disgusting. Foolishly I paid four nights in advance. Didn't even stay one. And despite me telling them I was leaving and another couple at reception at the same time trying to book in. They were told there were no rooms available. Where to start. Well there was an awful musty stench in the room which I thought ok maybe get used to. So then around 9 pm suddenly first one bang at the window then another. What on earth. A number of swallows or swifts constantly circling then banging themselves off the window then crawling into a hole in the building. With their constant banging then squeaking not much chance of any sleep. All the rooms have this problem I was told and no refund. This place would be condemned if it was in the UK. Doesn't even warrant one star. Avoid

Rooms are smaller than in the pictures, basically just a bed and a sink. But over all nice and clean! The personal is really nice and helpful. Great for a short and cheap stay, if you don't have high expectations.

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to share my thoughts about this hostal. First off ignore the pictures on the website it is nothing like how it is advertised, the rooms are very unpleasant with no basic facilities and no TV, you get a room similar to a small caretakers room with a bed shoved in that practically touches all four corners of the wall, how well you sleep will also depend on the neighbours you have as unfortunately had a couple drinking and thrashing around and talking very loudly until almost 5am so found it near impossible to sleep, overall the experience left a very unpleasant taste in my.mouth and I quickly departed the following morning and checked into another hostal that was actually a few euros cheaper but offered excellent large size rooms with all you could possibly need, moral of the story is avoid malaga inn as there is plenty of nicer hostels in torremolinos and in some cases cheaper.
