Trulli Il Castagno

Amazing property and such a kind family. The brothers run the business and their father is the winemaker. So kind! The property is beautiful. The location is perfect to explore Martina Franca, locorotonda, and Cisternino.

It was a beautiful family run homestay. And even though we didn’t know it at the time the night we stayed there was a wine tasting event. At least 40 people were there and lasted over 2 hrs. There are no food options so we should have had a late lunch at Martina Franca before arriving. But their homemade focaccia and home grown wine was fabulous. And a delightful breakfast. Stunning location.

Very unique accommodation in the countryside. The pool and vineyards are a lovely place to relax. The cooking class with the owner was fun and the dinner lovely outside with the view

Too soft bed

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The tasting dinner produced by Giorgio, his mother, and brother was superb. We enjoyed being out in the country among the vinyards and amazing herb gardens. Girogio was an excellent host.

Lovely peaceful setting - we would have liked to stay longer but our holiday time did not stretch any further! Doing the wine tasting in the evening with Giorgio was fantastic - he is knowledgeable, passionate yet unpretentious about his wines. Such a fun evening.

Unfortunately the pool was covered over and we couldn’t use it. We were hoping to relax by the pool for the afternoon so we’re a little disappointed about that as it was such a beautiful setting and a warm day.

Really enjoyed the cooking class and dinner.

The trulli was nice but small for 4 adults.

It was wonderful to stay in an authentic trulli which was located off the beaten track. Family who run the property were so friendly and helpful. We opted to have a cooking class and dinner on-site. What a fantastic experience that was.
