Trulli Il Castagno

Authentic trulli house in nice wine yard area. The hosts were extremely friendly, giving good advices and helping in every way. Information package before arrival was excellent containing usefull information about the trulli house and surrounding towns. There was possibility to join in wine tasting event, but unfortunately we didn't have time.

Wszystko nam się bardzo podobało . Pięknie zagospodarowane otoczenie . Urocze trullo ze wszystkim co potrzeba. Bardzo wygodne łóżka . Byłyśmy w listopadzie i było ogrzewanie i ciepło . Ogródek z którego można zbierać warzywa . Dobre miejsce wypadowe samochodem do pobliskich miasteczek. Matera , Alberobello i Polignano a Mare. Bardzo dobre wino i oliwa z oliwek.

Nie zauważyłyśmy takich rzeczy

We went past stayed in the history. In the morning we even didn’t feel sun rises, it was warm and very comfortable. If I go again I will definitely stay there.

Literie peu confortable pour nos filles adolescentes .

We stayed in their Trulli, which is 200+ years old. They upgraded everything from heating, plumbing, etc. and it was surprisingly comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The temperature inside was perfect (we were there the first week in November. We loved the whole setting: had a wine dinner with the wine maker brother, Giorgio arranged all the local tours which we wanted to do, Antoniana, the wife, cooked us breakfast, and we picked vegetables/herbs for making our dinners all free of charge. The location is great: it is in the central location to visit Alberobello, Locorotondo, and Martina Franca. Please keep in mind that you must have your own car to drive around.

We liked everything. There was no night life around, but we are an older couple, we enjoyed walking around the exotic property, beautiful grape farmland around us, and the quietness. It is lovely!

We liked the trullo, but it was quite cold. Winetasting was a very good experience

Very diffucult to find restaurants nearby

The experience was absolutely wonderful! We also joined a cooking class with Giorgio and his mother — they were so friendly and welcoming. Their passion for wine, olive oil, and local traditions truly shone through as they explained everything in detail. Sitting next to the vineyard, enjoying the meal we cooked together with a glass of their wine, was an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend staying here and joining the cooking class.
