We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer! It was a wonderful place to relax, and the grounds and food were wonderful. Our host was helpful and warm. (My only criticism was that the honesty bar was too expensive - we would have used it more if it was cheaper!) Regardless, highly recommended and the building and fixtures themselves are worth it!

Of all our many visits, this is, without a doubt, the best place we have ever stayed in France. Stefan and Leila are incredibly warm and gracious hosts. The Château is beautiful, the accommodations very comfortable, and the breakfasts and dinners are wonderful. We definitely hope to return in the near future and recommend the Chateau La Thuliere most enthusiastically.

If you are reading this, you couldn't believe the 4.9 rating just like us but boy, it lives up to a 5 in our books. Quaint rooms, delightful staff on hand, gorgeous grounds and breakfast - just a complete retreat in every way. Spent an afternoon or two near the pool by the greenhouse - there are so few guests here at once it is easy to feel like you own the place.

Five days of excellence in the French countryside near Bergerac. The staff was friendly and very helpful to recommend day trips for wine tastings, scenic spots for photography, and answering other general inquiries. The accommodations were very comfortable, but the gourmet food puts this place into the stratosphere.

One of the best chateua nights we have experienced. Delightful hosts; romantic ambience. This chateau is on my must return list.

gorgeous hotel and lovely service... The honesty bar and drinks cabinet were a great touch - I'm pregnant so would LOVE to go back when I'm not to really enjoy it! The food was superb and the breakfast delicious. Would definitely recommend.
