The Bluff Resort Apartments

The facilities were clean and the studio apartment quite spacious. It was and well stocked with equipment and appliances, etc. Everything functioned well but the light switches were in unusual locations. The bed was lovely. The small balcony was great. So was the view.

We wish the website had indicated that there was NO lift to reach the level of our studio apartment 307. I'm 85 with serious cardiac and spinal probs and my poor 75 y.o. wife had to drag our suitcases, etc. up 4 zig-zag flights of stairs. The v. pleasant check-in lady told us there was no one available to assist and that she couldn't leave the office unattended, to give us help, herself. Each time in the three days we were there that we wanted to go out somewhere we were almost discouraged from doing so because of the demands of the stairs. In this day and age, it is rather pathetic that the owners can't bring themselves to keep pace with modern expectations to assist their clients by installing something as basic as a lift. In their day, I suppose, the Bluff Apartment complex may have been acceptable but they're out of date and we will be warning our relatives, friends and neighbours not to go there if they have physical or cardiac problems. Or if they choose to, then book a ground floor room.

Breathtaking views, one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in, spa bath, inviting space and friendly staff, and even a pool if you want to go for a swim! Photos on Booking.com don't do it justice that's for sure! Will definitely be back!

The only constrictive feedback we would give, is that the frosted glass windows in the bathroom made us feel a little uncomfortable, blinds would have made it a little more private.
