Lovely place to stay, very calm place and nice views from our room window. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very pleasant and superb staff. Accommodated a friend for business breakfast very easily. Chef is superb, as are the attentive waiting staff

Hotel and location absolutely stunning! The River Usk is a stones throw and the beautiful Monmouthshire and Brecon canal is an easy and scenic walk away. Service warm, friendly and helpful. Evening meal was outstanding too!

No lift so had to climb to the servants rooms. The staff helped with our bags

Fab in every way - staff, food, location, rooms, cleanliness, rooms, beautiful bedding, but there was a faulty heating pump which kept us awake until 2230 and started again at 0630. This was out of the ordinary however.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded on arrival for a two night stay. Beautiful views of the Brecon Beacons from a lovely room with two comfortable settees writing desk etc. We found the staff to be friendly and welcoming and this seemed to rub off on the guests making us all friendly too! The only thing to improve our stay would have been had there been an indoor pool to go with the spa facilities
