Absolutely nothing.

The showers were old and tired. There were staines all over ther carpets My room didn’t lock at all, when I complained the lady in charge just told me it was difficult and I should just keep slamming it. This didn’t work, I had to spend 10 minutes fiddling with the lock to get it to work. The front door of the hotel was smashed and had not been replaced. There was a dreadful smell throughout the hallways. When you book a hotel with parking you don’t expect that to be spaces in the on the street. Staff weren’t helpful at all. One of our rooms was damp and the wallpaper was coming off in patchy lumps.

The worst hotel experience we’ve ever had, for the money it cost us. What a complete disappointment - do yourself a favor and skip this one. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful service, overpriced and not comfortable at all. When we arrived at 19:30, we were refused a seat at the restaurant, which wasn’t even full, there were two tables. We had made our reservation through Booking and their excuse was that they couldn’t have known we would want dinner. The only other option in town was a bad doner/pizza place - not what you expect when you go on holiday in France. The breakfast was very disappointing for the price - we were served 1 croissant per person, there was a baguette to cut from, bit of cheese and meat and some jams/butter. At 9am they were out of eggs, even though we had booked breakfast from the day before. For 12.5€ per person, absolute disappointment. The double bed is very small, the third bed is extremely uncomfortable. There was no ac and was quite warm and stuffy. Opening the windows at night meant lots of noise as there was a lot of heavy traffic passing through the village.

This is a nice little hotel, I think the only hotel, and it's located on the main square in the peaceful little town of Douzy. The welcome was great, the beds comfortable, the breakfast very nice. Cheaper to book direct rather than online.

Can't check in on a Sunday which was a right pain when I found myself needing somewhere to sleep unexpectedly on a Sunday, ended up kipping on the hanger floor under my plane at the local airfield.

Local family-owned, nice and honest meals in the hotel restaurant.

Horrible extra bed in 3-person room. Mattress must have been older than last wartime. Very noisy room on the corner of traffic spot in town. Uninteresting breakfast. Not good value for money.

Super friendly staff, great view on town, amazing restaurant (I had both breakfast and dinner there). The owner seems to be the head chef. Not your standard hotel breakfast, really good quality food, and avocado bread!

Rooms need some rework on the usability of the windown, and the bathroom, there was also some smell from the pipies in the bathroom, was probably temporary. STill absolutely recommend the place for its overall charme.
