Lovely host, convenient location across the road from the pub, comfy bed, lovely spacious bathroom, very homey feeling, I loved the cottage vibe, wish we had more time there.

The heat went off during the night and it got a bit cold for us Aussies. There was some dust and cobwebs in a few spots if I was picky.

The room is very cosy and has everything you need. Bathroom is very clean as well and the check in was super easy. The pub across the street is delicious - a perfect stay on our trip.

Teresa was really helpful and accommodating.

It's a really lovely house, very well located between Dorchester and Blandford Forum, with a pub opposite so plenty of places to eat. It's also good for visiting Swanage, Weymouth, Poole etc. There is good parking which is a bonus. We would definitely visit again, the hosts are very helpful and lovely people.

Period property so bedroom and bathroom large. The self service continental breakfast was of good quality and choice. Although next to a road inn a quiet location.

Being a period property the rooms felt a little damp in early October. The stairs were narrow and steep to the 2 first floor bedrooms. The entrance from the road into the courtyard was very dark and difficult to spot at night. Helped being across the road from a well lit pub. The proprietor was very pleasant but only met her twice so on my own in the house the majority of the time.

The bed was comfortable, the location was nice.

As I turned the door knob to open the door a screw fell out, we were told there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, there wasn't, although there was a TV there was no access to live TV programmes, the room smelt musty, there were cobwebs on the ceiling and in the corners it he bedroom and bathroom, for the three days we were there they did not change the sheets or towels. We only saw the host when we arrived and when we left.
