Very friendly people.

Our room had alot of Ladybirds, horse rugs hung over the staircase by our door.

Great room and great breakfast with very helpful and welcoming staff. Their restaurant, a short walk up the road served reasonable food eat a good price. The staff were really friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere.

There was nothing to dislike

We booked the room late on 31 December – due to a system error, it was confirmed, although we found out at 10 p.m. that it was actually closed. The owner, who had already gone to bed, still gave us a warm welcome. The stay was less like a hotel and more like coming home for the holidays. The room was small (like all rooms in England), but perfectly equipped. The whole house is like that – and full of beautiful memories of the owner's life. Anyone who appreciates such a homely atmosphere will feel completely at home here. A great breakfast with a view of the paddocks and the beautiful countryside and a lot of warmth made our first day of the new year wonderful. We bonded with the owner not only through our love of horses, but also through her warm-heartedness and enthusiasm for her home and her guests. We will definitely be back and would be delighted if she came to visit us in Vienna.

Really clean, tidy & welcoming! Room was perfect, breakfast was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Shame there was no WiFi in the bedroom, however we did get 4G.

Only 1 chair in room

Lovely accommodation, and great to have a separate room for the children but also joined via the conservatory to the main bedroom. Breakfast was also wonderful, owner and all staff also amazingly helpful and friendly.

A minor thing but the blind in the children’s room would have been better as a blackout blind, as it was white it let a lot of light in and made it hard for kids to get to sleep as summer nights are quite light.
