The Chesterfield Guest House

We had a very enjoyable bank holiday break with our 2 grandchildren aged 8 and 5. Terri and Wayne were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much for them. The room was comfortable and the bed excellent. Would definitely recommendv a stay here

We really enjoyed our time in the Chesterfield Guest House with our landlords Terry and Wayne. They are a lovely couple which gave us every day the feeling to be absolutely welcome. The Chesterfield is a lovely place, clean with everything you need for your stay. The guest house is small and quiet and you can easily walk in a few minutes to the town centre or the Harbour. We can`t say anything bad about it and would always go again.

Really enjoyed our stay, Terri & Wayne are really lovely people and super host who can not be more helpful. The full English breakfast are to die for, we will definitely be returning.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my teenage children, the room was a spacious family room, confy beds, clean with a nice en-suite bathroom. Terry and Wayne were so welcoming, they made our stay relaxed and were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was great too. I'd definitely stay at The Chesterfield again.

We got into our room and it was disgusting. There was hair and crumbs in the drawers , in the bed. The room stank of B.O. we asked the hotel to clean it for us when we came back it was a little cleaner but still unhygienic to stay in, because of this we decided to leave and pay out again to find accommodation somewhere else, the hotel has been very rude to us and refuses to give us a refund or partial refund. Their unhelpfulness ruined our holiday that we had been looking forward to for a long time.

Good hotel and nice hosts great breakfast.Clean rooms and great location.

Within easy walk to the town.Hotel owners very friendly, Very good local chip shop if you did not what to walk to town.

What can I say, really enjoyed our stay, Terri & Wayne, were fantastic, really lovely couple who made us feel welcome from the start. Breakfast was always enjoyable not only for the amazing full English, but also the chat and the banter we used to have with them both, only been home 2 days and miss it already, we as a family will definitely be back for more.
