Comfort Inn & Suites near Bethel College

I stay at Comfort Inn everytime I go to Newton. All the employees are nice and friendly. I enjoy being there.

This place is completely mis-managed. There were so many lights burnt out in the stairwell that it was dangerous at night. It smelled like they were covering up a mold smell with air fresheners. The pool was "temproarily closed for maintenance" that was supposed to last "a couple of hours" that was from 5:30PM until 7:30AM the next morning. Not that I would have trusted to swim in it the way everything else was cared for. The filtered water cooler in the exercise room was flashing a light saying the filter needed changed, which I hadn't noticed until after I had drank from it and had to spit it out because it was terrible tasting. The area around the coffee station was filthy in the morning, as in day's worth of filth. The entire experience was awful. I wouldn't let anyone I care about stay in this hotel.

There was drunk dudes right outside my room, drinkin and pissin all over the place and listening to music very loud. But when I told the polite man at the front desk, he addressed it.

Lots of noise from other guests. Thin walls Good location. Friendly staff and good price

I liked the EV charging but a car was permanently parked in the space. Still managed to use it. The door key card was a problem and the staff was grumpy at reprogramming them and still one did not work and the seconded was tempermental.

Shower didn’t function well.

There was only one working ice machine in the facility. That might be expected in a low cost facility but was definitely disappointing in a mid-range facility.

Great check-in.

The staff were very friendly and was willing to accommodate our extended family to play games and visit in the meeting room while we were all travelling from far away.

Got there Sunday evening. There was snow and ice completely covering the parking lot. The neighboring buildings had me shocked and or plowed. Not the comfort inn. Horrible walking on that to and from the car. The don’t desk guy was super helpful and very friendly. Got is checked in super quickly and went over everything. That was thejinylmpostive. The hallways were super dirty. Trash over flowing in the evening and even more the next day when we checked out around 10am. Room was sort of cleaned. Tub filthy, floor was dirty /!: found the trash to still have trash in it. The sheets looked clean but really didn’t know. Saw a roach in the am. Killed it and packed up and left. Kind of sketchy cleanliness wise. Poole as also very gross. Water looked slimy and hair all over the place. Didn’t get in. The sauna was “working” but obviously on its last leg. If you need a cheap room I guess you can consider this. I’d pick the holiday inn next time. I stayed here a few years back and it was fine but it has gone down hill bad!
