Very nice and comfortable place. The area looked a bit abandoned when arriving at night but the host made me feel very welcome and the entire place is having a great family atmosphere. There were many good restaurants just a few minutes drive from the hotel.

We spent a week of our vacation at Villa Araca. It was a rainy week, but we enjoyed every moment of it. Giuliano and Nilzete - the couple in charge of the hotel, made us feel at home, were extremely helpful and directed us to all sites worthwhile visiting. The highlight of our month in Brazil was a self service breakfast that included freshly squeezed juices, local and national specialties, home made pao de quiejo and delicious cakes. Patricia was in charge of the kitchen and she definitely knows her job. The rooms and the pool area were clean and well maintained. The beach is close by...and also the presence ob Uber makes life much easier.

We stayed at Villa Flamboyan, which is a sister to Villa Araca, just a few metres down the road. It was difficult to find as it is not signed, but it was worth finding. We had the entire grounds to ourselves, as of the 5 rooms available, 4 of then were occupied by the staff. The lovely large grounds consist of a shallow warm pool, welcome after the heat of Brazil in February; and a comfortable large shaded gazebo area where we spent many hours. Wifi easily available everywhere. The room itself was plain but servicable. The service was excellent - Giuliano went out of his way to assist us in every detail; breakfast was quite good although repetitive; Patrizia, the cook and chambermaid) was pleasant and efficient; the handymen and gardeners (especially Sydney) were friendly and interested in us and in helping us. A lovely peaceful place, within a 15 minute walk to town with loads of restaurants and shops, and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach and plentiful bars. Great place to unwind and relax.
