Badhuis Hotel

Nice and quiet location not far from the city center. A good supermarket is located in the nearest vicinity of the hotel.

The hotel is nice and is definitely worth its price, but we had some problems with facilities. One day, the coffee machine was out of order, and the other day, we first had brown water coming from the tap and then no water at all for some time.

The check-in was very easy. The locks are opened through the website on the phone which was very convenient

There was a bad smell from the bathroom that didn't quite go away

We loved the hotel. But what really made the place special was the restaurant in the bottom floor. It is absolutely wonderful. The food was outstanding and so was the service. This hotel would not be good for guests that like to sleep early bc you can hear the conversation from the restaurant below. But we ago to bed really late and don't care about that at all. The location was great, not in the middle of downtown but close enough to everything, and you can go walking to the train station.

I actually missed the human touch. Not sure that I would like to stay again in a place where I don't meet anybody. For us the human touch is still essential for a good experience. In the other places we stayed we made wonderful acquaintances with the receptionist. Having the restaurant was essential to make this a good experience. The people at the restaurant were super friendly and we stayed after hours talking with them.

Een hele gezellige kamer en makkelijk toegankelijk.

We vonden het ontbijtje bij Tijm (overigens ook een erg leuk tentje) wat karig. Een kop koffie/thee, een glas jus d’orange en je kon kiezen uit een croissantje of een pastel de nata. Voor mijn puberzoon was dit niet helemaal genoeg.
