Hotel Godwin Deluxe

The hotel is located close to the New Delhi railway station. The facilities in the room are top notch with designer lamps, switches, curtains, etc., The bed is very comfy and the room is quite spacious, as well as the washroom. The only downside is the manager/the one that was in charge at the reception. We asked for an airport drop off since we didnt avail the complimentary airport pickup and was told that only pick ups are complimentary. Which is fair and i accepted it. But, when we asked how much it would cost to drop us in the nearby metro station which is like less than 700 metres away, he wanted to charge us 350 INR and I just paid 56 Rupees in Uber the previous night. Obviously, I refused and took an auto/tuk-tuk to the metro which only costed me 70. He just kept oggling all the while we checked in or out which left a bad taste apart from a very nice hotel experience besides.

The hotel stole my money, charged for 2 nights onlyvstayed 1. Also, we became violently sick from breakfast. Caused us throwing up and diahrreahc

Things always look better online than in real life. I was not too happy about the staff, but then the area was not in a good part of town. You get what you pay for, learned this the hard way and checked out to move to another place.

Check in process took a little time but everything was OK. Good WiFi and they offer free breaksfast which is good too, thank you!

I only stayed one night but compared to the other hotels I stayed in India, this was very good. Good staff and nice room. Free airport pick up (one way). Staff allowed me to check out an hour later because I had a late flight. I would definately recommend this hotel.
