K's House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel

This place is great, I would recommend people to go to Ito just to relax at this hostel. I had a private room and it felt just so luxurious. Well connected by train and bus. Book a massage, write in your diary, read that book, discuss issues of life with someone you just met.

Ito itself has seen better days, but you can see it has so much potential! Don't imagine hanging out on the beach here or doing some cute shopping. Use the hostel as a springboard to do a hike of the Jogasaki trail and go up Omura with the chair lift.

The building is old, and you can tell it is. It's in the creaky floorboards. I view it as a good thing. The atmosphere and design of the house were a delight! The onsen was just the refresher I needed during my travels. The staff were friendly and helpful with every interaction. Staying here reminded me why hostels can be an excellent way to travel. I would definitely stay here again in the future if I was in japan.

The only downside I would say is that I'm a tall guy so there were some areas where I had to hunch my shoulders down a lot, although to be honest that has been a reoccurring thing in Japan haha.
