Arya Amed Beach Resort and Dive Center

The pool and resort restaurant located on the beach with beautiful garden and outlook, all the grounds were well maintained. There were plenty of options to eat close by. Not near the main area of Amed but had 2 convenience stores and restaurants in walking distance. Only a short (2min) scooter ride to walk the street for the local warungs and shops.

Whilst the room was clean and comfortable it could do with an update as it was looking tired. The Wi-Fi throughout the resort was not the best. When we were out and about nearby at the local warungs the Wi-Fi was excellent. We mentioned this upon check out and the staff member was grateful for the feedback and advised she would have investigated.

Smelly drains in room No thick quilt, just a sheet

Rooms, pool, restaurant, beach were all very nice. Super hot good running water and excellent bath tub. Large bathroom. Quiet private separate villas.

The small ants in the bed sheets. The Wifi was bad in the room

Good size portion for the breakfast. Mosquito net over bed. That's it.

The first room was hidden around the back of the hotel, zero views or sun and the sheets were stained, and dirt all of the walls . We asked to move to another room which had some sun but this room also had stains on the sheets, all of the wood in the bathroom was rotten and mouldy and smelt foul. Stains all over the walls. The AC unit was ridiculous loud and barely made a difference.
