Very good breakfast! Fantastic location- 3 minute walk to the train station and an unobstructed view of the Eiger!!!

Very near to the station, connecting transport and supermarket. Friendly staff was also appreciated.

Very close to the train station and had beautiful view at the front. There’s no aircond in the room, though it was cold when you leave the windows open.

This hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the train station and the Coop supermarket. The room I stayed in was cozy and clean, with a breathtaking view. The food was excellent as well. What a lovely hotel!

Location is great: this hotel is about as close to the main Grindewald train station as you can be - less than 5 minutes walk. The bus station is also just across the road, but we did not experience any noise issues. In addition, the Coop supermarket is a few minutes walk away, so you can easily stock up on supplies. You can enter the hotel through the integrated restaurant, and take the lift to the first floor where reception is located. Very friendly and helpful staff who gave good suggestions for our Jungfrau trip. Room was good, with a safe, fridge, TV, portable fan (needed during the heat wave), comfortable beds, balcony, toiletries. You can borrow a kettle from reception and they also provided adaptor plugs to charge our phones. We had mountain views from our balcony. Breakfast is from 730am to 1000am. It can be busy early on as people are looking to get away early for the big mountain trips, but we always found a table and staff were constantly refilling the breakfast items. Which included juices, hot drinks, fruit, cereals, scrambled eggs, yogurts, breads, croissants. It was ample for our (vegetarian) needs. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant once, and that was fine. Switzerland can be expensive so many budget conscious travellers use the local supermarket for meals. We found a very good cafe near the Coop which was very good value for money. Grindewald (and Hotel Central Wolter) provides an excellent base for touring the surrounding area. Our favourites were Jungfrau, Grindewald First and Schilthorn. If you are looking to escape hot weather, some of the mountain summits provide relief, the nearby Gletscherschluct Gorge is cool, and further out you could do Tummelbach Falls.

We booked an appartment and the size was great! The balcony was a major selling point and we used daily. Loved being super close to train station and Coop and on the main street in Grindelwald. Included breakfast had options for everyone would definitely recommend!!

Position position position! We were opposite the bus station, next to the train station, supermarket 2 mins walk away & looked directly at the Eiger. Reasonably priced.

There was no air conditioning but the fan & windows made it tolerable
