Hotel Calacoto

Nice hotel with good breakfast and staff very helpful.

When I arrived they didnt have my booking and then they told me they didnt have availability. They ended up giving me a better room because they knew it was their mistake. However, arriving at 5am obviously to find there is an issue with the booking is very annoying because you have to wait for the issue to be resolved. Also important to note that they dont have a 24 hour reception, during the night they just have a guardian during the evening who had no idea how to proceed with the problem.

The hotel was very clean, spacious rooms, good restaurant and great garden to relax and watch the humming birds.

Not a bad place to stay short-term. I stayed for 4 nights in February 2025. The staff are decent at the front desk. The bell men are the best. They really take good care of you. The kitchen staff not so good. I asked to have a meal warmed-up; however, the food i requested to be re-heated came back as cold as it went going in. Creating a terrible experience for us. We had to eat our food cold. We ended up ordering another meal to eat something warm. The cleaning service did not come to service our room the second day after our stay. They only cleaned our room once in 4 days. Their location is good, because it's close to restaurants up the block "el bosque" and a spa accross the way.
