Location, view and hospitality

The valley view is stunning. We enjoyed spending time at the balcony and seeing sunset,moonset and the shimmering city at night time.

Apart from the view nothing else worked. The parking is cramped, food is expensive, the entire staff is horrendous, ill-trained. GM is not visible at the hotel. There is no process to make things work, they are just capitalizing on the view asking people to shell out lots of money. I was asked multiple times about the same topic when i had already answered that specific question to another staff. Packed breakfast caught ants but we were being given that food which we rejected. Room was not clean

Staff were ,courteous rates were very costly. I had to shell out 20000 just for one room and for one night.. Food was not included in the room tariff. Room was ordinary and not worth that price Staffalso require some more training as house keeping dept particularly requires lot of training. There was no prompt serviceand had to repeatedly call the house keeping to get things such as soaps, dentalkits ,towels bedsheets pillows etc

House keeping service Restraunt food was not good especially Buffy south Indian foods requireslot of improvement in cooking and taste TV not working and overall requires lot of improvement Things are not professional HAS not met the expectations of a Resort This is a very genuine and serious feedback. ALSO MANY PEOPLE WERE UNHAPPY AND FOUND QUARRELING WITH THE RECEPTIONSTAFF AND MANAGER.

Best thing about Sterling Yercaud is the Location. Situated close to the Ladies seat tourist attraction, it has all the valley facing rooms and the view is beautiful. We visited in late may and it was misty and foggy all throughout our stay. Food is decent.

Most of the resorts offer high-tea and some snacks free of cost and also, the games room games are offered complimentary but here at Sterling, they charge for it, which I feel is unnecessary as the room cost should cover it. Property is old now so needs a bit of renovation overall including fresh towels and other consumables.

Food is excellent and chef Surya and VIshnu are awesome, they welcome all guests and their hospitality is appreciated.

House keeping is not upto the mark .We informed them to clean our rooms while we were going out. After 6 hrs when we returned the room was not cleaned, again called extension 45 unfortunately took 2 more hours to get even water and they come for.clean at 6 PM.

Nice location, Hari ,Shahina,Mahak at reception helped us a lot. Pratap at discovery central was very helpful. Nice food and nice experience.

Location, only the security staff were very helpful and good.

The room cleanliness and hygiene, room service is very poor. Charges for such poor service is too expensive. Totally not satisfied with the stay. Will definitely not recommend to any near and dear ones.
