Koh Jum Resort

I liked the resort, even though it's right on the beach, but I must say it's a bit isolated. Even with a moped, driving at night will be a little risky because the road leading to the resort isn't paved. This means it will be easier to have dinner at the hotel! The staff at the hotel are 5-star, especially the girls who work in the restaurant. For those who want a decent view of the sea, they should choose the rooms located higher up. Don't choose the Grand Beachfront villa; it's right above the restaurant and the view is very limited. It's close to the beach but doesn't have the best view, and the villa's roof is thatched or bamboo, but it's so dry that the room and bed have to be swept constantly.

If you like to relax and just sit by the pool of on the beach, this is the hotel for you. There is nothing else around it. Bungalows were great and a nice view over the bay. Lots of walking up or down as all the bungalow are built on the side of the hill. We hired a motorbike from the hotel for 24 hrs. The longtail boat comes everyday at 9am to.take guests to Phi Phi.

The track to the hotel is along a dirt track which gets eroded easily during the rains. We hired a motorbike from the hotel, but you take your life in your hands going along here to reach the tarmac and proper road.

Das freundliche Personal.

Es ist schon alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen und dadurch das es auch in der Natur liegt, hatten wir durch ein Außenloch an der Klimaanlage nachts Besuch von einer Maus. Der kleine Pool hatte trotz nächtlichem automatischen Reinigen an den Wänden Algenablagerungen.

Das Hotel liegt an einem schönen Strandabschnitt und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant war sehr gut und erschwinglich.

Um zum Hotel zu gelangen, muss man ca. 700 Meter über eine Schotterpiste. Es ist leider weit und breit kein Ort in der Nähe. Außerdem ist der Pool leider sehr ungepflegt und es gibt Leider keine Sonnenschirme am Pool.

Die Lage direkt am Strand. Die Aussicht vom Balkon, sowie die Ruhe am Strand. Wenn man Ruhe braucht und möchte ist man in deinem Hotel genau richtig! Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Als wir uns Roller gemietet haben hat und der Angestellte sogar bis zur befahrbaren Straße navigiert und uns gezeigt wie man am besten auf dem Weg fährt.

Die Anfahrt zum Hotel, da irgendwann die Straße aufhört, man hat sich wie auf Safari gefühlt. Das Hotel ist nicht für Leute geeignet die schlecht zu Fuß sind, da es viele Stufen und Treppen gibt. Die Zimmer sind nicht all zu gut isoliert, da kann es zu Kleintieren kommen, sowie das sich die Hitze in den Hütten staut.
